Market Access Group offers a variety of services that may be contracted for in part or in whole, depending on the client’s needs, and are priced accordingly.

Our compensation typically incorporates two forms of compensation: an ongoing advisory fee and a success fee.

The magnitude, structure, and timing of compensation are contingent upon the scope and term of the engagement and the circumstances of the client.

US Capitol  Federal Government Relations: Legislative & Appropriation Project Funding

Once our clients have selected an appropriate Government Relations “Lobbying” Firm, such as The DLM Group , Market Access Group offers services to provide overall project planning, management, and execution to ensure achievement of maximum results and success. Our services “are over and above” the clients selected Government Relations/Lobbying Firm’s efforts. This includes the following critical activities associated with a successful campaign in obtaining Governmental Appropriations and Earmark/Plus Up funding.

  • Provide overall planning, management, and execution of the project(s). This includes interfacing the with Clients Direct and Indirect Sales Teams, Executive Management and their selected Federal Government Relations/lobbying firm in order to develop overall Strategy, Objectives, Action and Contact Plans, and progress/achievement reporting.
  • Develop Key Messages, Complete House/Senate Appropriations Request Forms (Defense, Homeland Defense, NASA, and/or other Subcommittees)
  • Design and create Sales and Marketing Collateral including presentations.
  • Identify Government Program Manager willing to Sponsor Project that is either additional production of existing products and/or actual Research & Development (R&D) funding for new products and solutions.
  • Ensure Sponsor understands Government Earmark/Plus process to ensure success.
  • Identify appropriate Contract Vehicle for Client for execution of Project Funding
  • Establish frequent contact with Program Manager to provide status and progress briefings. Re-enforce key messages and develop close relationships. Customer meetings can include clients Executive Management and/or Direct of Indirect Sales Teams.
  • Once Appropriation for project becomes law, track and protect funding as it flows to Program Manager. This is a highly complex process requiring certain expertise in avoiding pitfalls and misdirected funding.
  • Finally, assist Client and Program Manager in applying funds to an appropriate contract vehicle that provides the lowest risk and lowest Inter-agency funding “Cannibalization”.
